Creamy and decadent, this cherry trifle is a sure crowd pleaser!<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<p>1 box Angel food cake or 1 prepared Angel Food Cake<\/p>\n<p>1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 cups milk<\/p>\n<p>1 cup sour cream<\/p>\n<p>1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling<\/p>\n<p>1 tub (8 ounces) Cool Whip<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon almond slivers, toasted<\/p><!--CusAds0-->\n<p>Instructions<br \/>\nBake angel food cake according to package\u2019s directions. Allow to cool and cut into cubes.<br \/>\nIn a bowl, combine pudding mix, milk, and sour cream and beat until smooth. Set aside.<br \/>\nIn a 9\u00d713 baking dish, arrange 1\/2 of cake cubes in a layer.<br \/>\nSpoon 2\/3 of cherry pie filling over cake.<br \/>\nPlace the remaining 1\/2 of the cake on top of pie filling.<br \/>\nSpoon pudding over cake and spread evenly.<br \/>\nSpoon and spread whipped topping over pudding layer.<br \/>\nGarnish cake with the remaining pie filling and toasted almonds.
