For the Cake:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vanilla extract, and white vinegar.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, mixing until well combined.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
