Homemade Donuts Recipe

Ingredients
DONUT DOUGH INGREDIENTS
2 cup all purpose
1/2 teas_poon salt
3-4 tbs sugar
1 tea_spoon vanilla essence
1 tbs yeast
4 tbs m_elted butter
1 cup luke_warm milk
DONUT GLAZE INGREDIENTS
2 cups sugar
3-4 Tbsp water
1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Glaze
1/2 cup semi_sweet chocolate or chocolate chips
3 tablesp_oons heavy cream
2 tables_poons (30g) unsa_lted butter
Directions
Step 1
In a large bowl, whi_sk together the flour, yeast, sugar, salt and vanilla essence, then add 4 tbs me_lted butter then mix add milk in portion and kne_ad the dough well
Step 2
Keep the dough for 2-3 hours in a warm place
Step 3
Turn the dough out onto a ligh_tly flou_red surface and roll out to about ½” thick. then take any glass to cut out the donuts and use a small cap or round cookie cutter to cut out the donut holes.
Step 4
then fry all donuts on low medium flame heat until both sides get golden brown. You can also bake at 180° for 12-15 minutes or according to your oven se_ttings
Step 5
Remove the donuts from the hot oil and rest them on a wire rack pla_ced over a baking sheet to drain excess oil or simply place them on some paper tow_els to abs_orb the excess oil.
Step 6
To make the donut glaze, wh_isk together pow_dered sugar, vanilla extract and water in a small mixing bowl until smooth.
Step 7
To make the chocolate glaze, whi_sk together 1/2 cup semi_sweet chocolate or chocolate chips, 3 tables_poons heavy cream, 2 tables_poons (30g) unsa_lted butter in a small mixing bowl until smooth.
Step 8
Dip the tops of the donuts into the glaze and transfer back to the wire rack to cool and allow the glaze to harden. Top with sprinkles if desired.
