2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 lemon, juiced
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 head broccoli, cut into florets
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Season the steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.
Add the lemon juice, butter, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir until the butter has melted and everything is well combined.
Slice the steak into thin strips and add it back to the skillet. Stir everything together and cook for another minute or until heated through.
Serve the lemon garlic butter steak and broccoli skillet hot with a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired.
