Ingredients:
3 ¼ cups flour
2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
3 cups granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ¼ cup unsalted butter
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla essence
5 eggs
1 ½ cup milk
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 cup strawberry puree
Bitumen:
2 packages of cream cheese
½ tablespoon of vanilla essence
½ cup of sour cream
Decor:
Washed and disinfected strawberries
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Combine flour with baking powder and salt.
3. Cream the butter together with the sugar and the essence of vanilla.
4. Add the eggs, one at a time; beat well between each addition.
5. Add the oil in the form of a thread without stopping beating.
6. Integrate a third of the flour and half of the milk; repeat until both mixtures are completely used.
7. Add the strawberry puree; Mix until everything is well integrated.
8. Grease and flour a cake mold, pour the mixture and spread it evenly throughout the mold.
9. Bake at 180°C for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
10. Remove cake from oven; Let cool for 30 minutes before unmolding.
11. Beat the cream cheese, add the vanilla essence, the icing sugar and the sour cream. You should have a thick, creamy consistency.
12. Cover the strawberry cake with the frosting and decorate with strawberry slices
