Chocolate-Coated Matcha Cream Rolls
Ingredients:
200 ml heavy cream (cold)
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tbsp matcha powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
6–8 thin crepes or soft pancake sheets
200 g milk or dark chocolate (melted)
2 tbsp crushed nuts or chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Matcha Cream:
In a bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Add matcha powder and vanilla extract, then continue whipping until smooth and firm.
Spread the Filling:
Lay a crepe flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous layer of matcha cream evenly over it.
Roll the Crepes:
Carefully roll the crepe into a tight log shape. Repeat with the remaining crepes and filling.
Chill:
Place the rolls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
Coat with Chocolate:
Dip or spread the melted chocolate over each roll, covering them completely.
Add Topping:
Sprinkle crushed nuts or chocolate bits on top while the chocolate is still soft.
Set and Serve:
Let the chocolate set completely, then slice and serve. Enjoy chilled for the best texture!
Tip:
You can replace matcha with cocoa powder or fruit puree for different flavors.
