Soft Coconut Chocolate Layer Cake

Ingredients:

3 eggs

150 g sugar

100 ml vegetable oil

150 ml milk

200 g all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

100 g shredded coconut

1 tsp vanilla extract

200 g chocolate spread (like Nutella)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions:

Prepare the Batter:

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the oil, milk, and vanilla extract, and mix well.

Add Dry Ingredients:

Sift in the flour and baking powder, then mix until smooth. Fold in the shredded coconut.

First Layer:

Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured baking pan.

Add Chocolate Filling:

Spread the chocolate evenly over the batter, keeping a small border around the edges.

Top Layer:

Gently pour the remaining batter over the chocolate layer and smooth the surface.

Bake:

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30–35 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.

Finish:

Let the cake cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Tip:

For extra flavor, you can add orange zest or replace the chocolate spread with melted dark chocolate.
